Dowagiac man shot and injured just after midnight on Tuesday

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – A 37-year-old man from Dowagiac was shot on Tuesday, just after midnight.
Currently, he is in stable condition with a non-life-threatening injury.
The shooting took place on the 300 block of Main Street.
According to police, the victim was planning to meet up with one of his acquaintances on social media. When that person arrived, he allegedly attempted to rob the victim, a fight broke out and the 37-year-old man was shot.
Police are still investigating this incident.
