Deputies: two buildings on fire, materials to start fire found near third building in St. Joseph County

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. – Two buildings were on fire and materials to start a fire were found at a third building in Nottawa Township on Friday, the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department reported.

At 1 a.m., deputies were called to the 60000 block of Railroad Street for a report of two buildings on fire.

Deputies arrived at the scene to find two shed-type buildings engulfed in flames.

Deputies also located a third structure with materials to start a fire but that attempt failed, according to reports.
