Deputies investigating shooting, one person hospitalized

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- The La Porte County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened Thursday afternoon.
Deputies were called to the 4700 block of E. Michigan Street in Rolling Prairie at 3:18 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
A 36-year-old woman allegedly shot a 37-year-old man during a domestic dispute, deputies said.
The man was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing.
