SOUTH BEND, Ind.—Officials are investigating a fire at a South Bend apartment complex that may have been started by a lightning strike.
Around 3:15 a.m. on Monday, firefighters were called to the 2600 block of Arabian Court at the Hurwich Farms Apartments for reports of a fire.
Smoke and flames could be seen coming from the apartment complex roof.
No injuries were reported in the incident but multiple residents are reportedly displaced because of the fire.
Investigators said lightning may have played a role in the fire.
Video above obtained by Ben Utzinger shows the moment he says lightning struck the apartment building.
