MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- A crash between an SUV and a truck left one driver in the hospital Monday afternoon, says the Marshall County Sheriff's Office.

Around 2:41 p.m. Monday, Marshall County officers responded to a call about a two-vehicle crash on US 6, west of US 31.

When officers arrived, their investigation found that a 2016 Chevrolet Trax SUV was driving south before failing to stop at the intersection at US 6 from the ramp off US 31 South and winding up struck by a 2004 Dodge Dakota truck driving west.

The Trax's driver was transported to Memorial Hospital. The Dakota's driver was uninjured.
