COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Michigan City September 9

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. - Franciscan Health Michigan City is hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on September 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The clinic will be held at Pleasant Hill Ministries, located at 715 E. 10th St.

The Pfizer first and second vaccines will be available for those ages five and older.

If the shot is available locally by September 9, the new Pfizer bivalent booster shot, which targets the Omicron BA.4 and BA.5 strains, will be available for those ages 12 and older.

New U.S. Food and Drug Administration guidelines discontinued the use of the Pfizer monovalent booster vaccine.

Pre-registration is not required for this clinic.

Individuals getting their second dose or either of their booster shots will be eligible to win a $50 Visa gift card.

This clinic is supported by a grant in partnership with Beacon Health.
