Temperatures star below freezing this morning with patches of clouds overhead. We gradually climb out of the freezing weather this morning, but you will still need jacket for the temperatures and the scattered snow showers beginning after the AM commute. A low but persistent chance for scattered rain/snow showers lingers all day as a cold front passes over the area from the north. Highs only reach the low 40s today, sinking to the low 20s later tonight. Tuesday features a frigid Opening Day for the South Bend Cubs with temperatures barely meeting 40 degrees amidst partly cloudy skies. Our next best chance for widespread rain will be Wednesday and Thursday, although snow cannot be ruled out in the overnight period between the two days. We climb towards the 50s by the end of the week.
Today: Scattered snow showers. High 42.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 24.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy. High 40.
Wednesday: Showers. High 44.
