Marcus Freeman wins second COTY Award

ABC 57 SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Maxwell Football Club announced that Notre Dame Football Head Coach Marcus Freeman has been awarded the 2024 George Munger College Coach of the Year Award, on Wednesday.
The MFC's Facebook page posted a video of 1988 National Champion and Hall of Famer Dr. Lou Holtz calling Freeman to inform him that he is the 36th recipient of the award.
In mid-December 2024, Freeman was announced as one of 18 semifinalists in the running for the award via the MFC website.
