Groundbreaking for phase two of ’The Cascade’
A Clay High School softball pitcher does something as a freshman, most athletes won't do in their careers.
Jessica Cleveland pitched a perfect game for the varsity girls softball team, giving up zero hits, zero runs, and striking out 12 batters through five innings.
The Clay High Colonials (12-7) beat the Marquette Catholic Blazers (0-5), 12-0.
Catcher Hailey Wolf was 2 for 2 from the plate, and Clay stole nine bases on the evening.
