Chris Brown charged with hit-and-run

LOS ANGELES -- A pop star who has had multiple run-ins with the law might actually face jail time.

Singer Chris Brown was charged Tuesday with hit-and-run and driving without a license.

The charges are connected to a car crash in Los Angeles last month.

Brown is currently on probation and could face up to a year in jail for the misdemeanors. Arraignment is set for next month.
