Cass County man injured in motorcycle accident

One man was hospitalized following a motorcycle accident in Cass County, Michigan.

Cass County Sheriffs responded to the crash in the town of Marcellus on August 27 at 12:37 a.m.

The accident took place on Main Street near the intersection of Maple Street.

The driver of the motorcycle was Ronald Mikel, a 50 year old man from Marcellus.

He was driving eastbound on Main Street and ran into a parked vehicle, throwing him from his bike.

He sustained injuries to his hip area.

Mikel was air lifted to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo.

Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
