Canada's retaliatory tariffs could impact automotive and agricultural manufacturing beginning Sept. 8

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- As the trade conflict continues between Canada and the U.S. both sides of the border could soon feel the heat of the negotiations as retaliatory tariffs will take effect on Sept. 8.

Canada will match the U.S. tariff rates of up to 50 percent that will target multiple product sectors but it's the agriculture and car manufacturing divisions could be hit especially hard in the Hoosier state.
