Buttigieg to speak in South Bend Dec. 4 on job creation

U.S. Department of Transportation

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- United States Transportation Secretary and former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg will be in South Bend on Dec. 4 to speak about the pipeline of good-paying jobs created by the Infrastructure Law he played a major part in.

Buttigieg will be highlighting the Biden-Harris Administration's investments that are aimed at creating jobs across the country and in the Midwest.

"Thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, tens of thousands of projects are in development and creating jobs now, with project completion rolling out in the years and decades ahead," event organizers said.

Organizers says that on Wednesday, Buttigieg will meet with union members and apprentices at a training facility in South Bend.
