Three suspects in custody, one still at large after robbery at True Leaf

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. --The Van Buren County Sheriff's Office responded to a breaking and entering complaint, in the Village of Lawrence, at the TruLeaf Dispensary, around 3:30 a.m., on June 2. 

Dispatch was called to report the incident, when the owner observed multiple subjects inside the building, through surveillance video. 

The deputies and other agencies who arrived on scene, observed several subjects bringing out bags of marijuana and other products to a vehicle. 

Upon arrival, the subjects fled back inside the building, and three subjects fled in the woods, through a door. 

One subject was later apprehended as he exited the woods and tried to get in their car. 

A male was found inside the building and taken into custody with incident, and a third male was later found near County Road 681, walking down I94, where he disappeared north of the highway, into the woods, after seeing an officer. 

That suspect was located on, walking north on County Road 681, where he was apprehended and positively identified, using video footage, as one of the suspects involved in the breaking and entering incident. 

A fourth suspect still remains at large. 

The vehicle used was found to be reported stolen from Battle Creek. 

All three arrested suspects are male, between the age of 18 and 23, reside in the Battle Creek Area, and are lodged at the Van Buren Couty Jail on charges of Burglary, forced entry, Larceny in a building, possession of Burglary tools and resisting and obstructing police.
