NILES, Mich. -- The Bluegrass Music Festival has returned to Niles for its 20th year.
The music event draws a huge crowd in year after year and officials are expecting an even bigger crowd at this year’s event.
The festival spans four days and features nearly 20 different bands.
There are lots of different vendors for everything from food and art to merchandise and children’s activities.
Many vendors are community rooted organizations offering their products and services as well.
“Michiana in general, they know our festival and they helped put Niles on the map," said Joshua Sitarz, one of the organizers of the festival.
Friday's festivities will kick off at 4:30 p.m. and will end around 10:15 p.m.
The festival will run through 4 p.m. on Sunday. Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on while you enjoy the bluegrass music out on the lawn!
