Blue Chip Casino reopens Monday with safety precautions in place

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. – Blue Chip Casino has reopened its doors as of June 15th as part of the Back on Track Indiana plan. However, the poker room, the buffet, and the pool are still closed for the time being.

Guests to the casino are encouraged to wear a face covering, but it will not be a requirement.

Social distancing requirements will be in place, including reduced capacity on both the casino floor and restaurants. Hand sanitizer stations will be available in multiple areas.

Additionally, smoking will be allowed within the building again.

All employees will have to wear face coverings, receive temperature checks, and an enhanced cleaning and sanitation schedule will be in place on all high-touch areas.
