BENTON HARBOR, Mich. - A Benton Harbor man was arrested on drug charges on Thursday following an investigation by the Michigan State Police Southwest Enforcement Team.

On August 30, detectives executed two search warrants in Benton Harbor.

During the first search, in the 400 block of South Fair Avenue, detectives found approximately seven ounces of crystal methamphetamine, 5.5 ounces of fentanyl, 2.5 ounces of cocaine, and over an ounce of crack-cocaine, reports said.

Detectives found other evidence of drug trafficking that they eventually linked to 51-year-old Willie Lark, police said.

Evidence found during a search warrant in the 700 block of McAllister Avenue was also linked to Lark, according to reports.

Detectives sought and were granted arrest warrants for Lark for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, and crack-cocaine.

On Thursday, detectives found Lark in a secluded area in Coloma Township and arrested him without incident.

While searching Lark, detectives found more fentanyl, cocaine, and crack-cocaine packaged for selling, reports said.

Lark was taken to the Berrien County Jail on his arrest warrants and additional drug charges.
