Benton Harbor church holding prosecuting attorney candidate forum Tuesday
BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church will hold a Berrien County Prosecuting Attorney candidate forum on Oct. 8 that will give the public an opportunity to hear directly from each candidate.
Tuesday forum will feature democratic candidate Trevor Maveal and republican candidate Amy Byrd, and will be moderated by Pastor Maurice McAfee
The event will start at 6 p.m. and conclude at 7:30 p.m. at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church at 395 Jakway Ave.
"Attendees will have the chance to ask questions and engage with the candidates, gaining insights into their policies, priorities, and approaches to justice and public safety," organizers said. "This forum represents a vital platform for civic engagement and informed voting.
