Benton Center Road construction and closure updates
Courtesy of the Berrien Count Road Department BENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- The Berrien County Road Department provided updates on Wednesday on a few road construction projects currently happening around Benton Township area.
They say Phase 1 of repairs on Benton Center Road, between Napier Avenue and Britain Avenue, is anticipated to be completed enough to reopen the section of road to traffic by April 20. The road was originally close on April 8.
Phase 2 of the project will see Benton Center Road, between Britain Avenue and Territorial Road, closed starting April 20, with no reopen date currently scheduled.
A timeline for Phase 3, which will close Benton Center Road between Territorial Road and Red Arrow Highway, is completely dependent on how Phase 2 construction goes.
