Local candidates who are running for St. Joseph County Sheriff were invited to make a statement at a public forum hosted by the American Democracy Project and the League of Women Voters.
We have a statement from incumbent Bill Redman, a democrat, who is running unopposed in the primary.
Forum organizers extended the invitation to Republican candidate Kevin McGowan. McGowan did not participate.
Indiana’s primary election is May 3.
