ELKHART, Ind. – The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate an accident on the south east side of Elkhart just before 4 p.m. on Monday. The crash happened at the intersection of CR 20 and CR 111.

Charles Anglemyer, 72, was driving a Chevy Equinox with one passenger south on CR 111 and failed to yield the right of way at the intersection, deputies said.

Aime Hernandez, 35, was driving a Cadillac Escalade with three passengers east on CR 20 and collided with the passenger side of Anglemyer’s van, causing it to roll onto its side.

Four of the six people involved were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Anglemyer was cited for failure to yield and Hernandez cited for never receiving a license.
