Severe weather unlikely today, but not impossible
Calm weather defines the rest of this week's forecast with temperatures stepping up to at or above average values for the next few days. Mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 30s today transition to even sunnier skies and the 50s tomorrow. Lows will hover just around freezing overnight and tomorrow night, but the lack of surface wind keeps our area from single digit wind chills. Saturday is cooler than tomorrow with highs only reaching the 40F mark, the product of a weak cold front which moves through Michiana late Friday night. From Saturday night through most of Sunday, most of Michiana can expect to see on/off snow showers. It is possible snow lingers into Monday morning and causes some issues on the commute to work/school.
Today: Mostly sunny. High 38.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 28.
Friday: Sunny. High 54.
Saturday: Partly cloudy. High 40.
