Patchy cloud cover persists through tonight and the rest of the weekend due to abundant moisture and heat in our atmosphere over the next few days. Lows bottom out near 70 overnight, not giving Michiana much relief from the uncomfortably warm and humid weather. Sunday will likely be slightly cooler than today, although high temperatures are still expected to hit 90 degrees with dewpoints near 70 by tomorrow afternoon. The high pressure covering the Great Lakes begins to collapse on Monday, allowing slightly cooler temperatures and increased rain chances to trickle in. Isolated showers and storms are possible Monday afternoon, but widespread wet weather is more likely later that night into Tuesday, allowing temperatures to return to near normal values in the mid 80s by the middle of the week.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Warm. Low 71.
Sunday: Partly cloudy and hazy. High 90.
Monday: Isolated thunderstorms. High 88.
Tuesday: Scattered thunderstorms. High 85.
