Chilly conditions are spread across Michiana this morning with lows just shy of the freezing mark out the door. Light snow showers move into La Porte, Starke, and Pulaski Counties around 10 to 11 AM EST and expand east with time, crossing US-31 around lunch. Wet and "globby" snowfall will become steadier in the afternoon, although only a thin coating is expected on roads and other surfaces. A rain/snow mix takes over late afternoon/early evening during the commute but minimal travel impacts are expected. Highs reach the upper 30s today but temperatures crash to the mid 20s later tonight. A substantial warm up is en route to our area this weekend with temperatures in the 40s on Saturday, 50s on Sunday, and 60s on Monday. Sunshine will be abundant starting tomorrow and lasting into next week.
Today (Friday): Rain/snow. High 38.
Tonight: Snow showers early. Low 24.
Tomorrow: Mostly sunny. High 41.
Sunday: Sunny. High 50.
