Fall-like "shorts and sweatshirt" weather lasts through tonight and into the start of the weekend with temperatures barely cracking the 70s by Saturday. Partly cloudy skies continue through tonight with a slight chance for lake-driven showers late overnight into early Friday morning. Friday stays similar to Thursday with highs in the 60s and partly cloudy skies that become cloudier overnight. We break back into the mid 70s on Saturday and then upper 70s on Sunday as a quieter weather pattern is expected through the weekend. The next best chance for rain emerges in the middle of next week.
