The calm before an icy storm
Rain is likely overnight; temperatures will hover just above freezing, that combined with a still very warm ground / soil temperature will limit any wintry impacts. Snow could mix with the rain, but accumulation is unlikely, roads will be wet, there is minor concern for slick bridges and over passes, Tuesday morning. The rest of Tuesday is cool and damp with temperatures near 40 degrees.
The rest of the week is mostly uneventful, temperatures won't be extremely cold and the chance of rain is waning. This weekend looks fair, with highs near 50 and sunshine. Next week, the focus turns to Thanksgiving. Precipitation is possible, depending on timing it could be a wintry mix if temperatures are cold enough. There are too many IFs at this point, best to say we'll be watching it, but a major impact is not expected at this point.
Tonight: Rain after midnight; snow may mix by early morning. Low 35.
Tuesday: Lingering showers, chilly. High 42.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. High 46.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy. High 55.
