Black History, Black Futures: ABC57’s full 30-minute special
PLYMOUTH, Ind. -- For high school students worried about filing a FAFSA to seek student aid before the April 15 deadline, schools like Marian University are here to help, thanks to College Goal Sunday, a free event that seeks to assist those students with the application process.
ABC57's Summer Horan interviewed Jarrett Whitehead, Marian University's Marketing Coordinator, and Marcy Hopple, the Director of Operations and Administration, about the event on Sunday and what assistance Marian University will offer.
College Goal Sunday will start at 2 p.m. Sunday at each location's local time. Locations in Michiana include Elkhart High School in Elkhart, Marian University in Plymouth, Indiana University South Bend in South Bend, Ivy Tech Community College in Valparaiso, and Ivy Tech Community College in Warsaw.
You can also use the College Goal Sunday website to prepare yourself for your FAFSA.
