SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Knappy's Komics and Kollectibles in South Bend celebrated free comic book day with free comics, door prizes, and a raffle for one graded comic book.

The owner, Len Knappenberger, is the only owner who celebrated in the Michiana area.

Customers were limited to one book per person without purchase, two books per person with one item purchase, and four comics per person with purchase of a few items.

Knappenberger offered shoppers the opportunity to purchase one mystery box of comics ($20) with the chance of winning one graded comic book.

Each shopper got one raffle ticket towards winning a graded Amazing Spiderman #316 comic book.                    

The raffle drawing is set for Sunday evening and the winner has until May 21st to pick it up.

Knappy's Komics and Kollectibles is located at 1631 Edison Rd at the Edison Plaza in South Bend.

The store's hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday.
