LAGRANGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- On Sunday, May 11, deputies from Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a fatal crash resulting in a vehicle striking a pedestrian.

The fatal crash happened in the 5700 block on Wilbur Hill Rd. in Lagrange Township. Upon investigation the vehicle hit a pedestrian driving northbound. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Names are being withheld pending family notification. 

Dowagiac Police Department, SMCAS Ambulance and Pokagon Township Fire Department assisted on the scene. 

The crash reminds under investigation.
