Lights Off Walking Club starts Oct. 6 in Cobus Creek County Park

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Lights Off Walking Club starts Oct. 6 in Cobus Creek County Park.

The new outdoor group invites nature lovers to see the outdoors in a new way.

The Tuesday evening club will meet throughout October and November at a different park for peaceful night hikes.

Participants will enjoy the dark, quiet atmosphere of nature after sunset, and leave the flashlights behind.

These walks are designed to help people slow down a bit, tune into the sounds of the night, and experience familiar nature from a different perspective.

Walking dates include:

October 6 – Cobus Creek County Park (7:30-8:30pm)

October 13 – Ox Bow County Park (7:30-8:30pm)

October 20 – Corson Riverwood County Park (7:30-8:30pm)

October 27 – Bonneyville Mill County Park (7:30-8:30pm)

November 3 – Boot Lake Nature Preserve (7:00-8:00pm)

November 10 – River Preserve County Park (7:00-8:00pm)

November 17 – Lieber Nature Preserve (7:00-8:00pm)

November 24 – River Preserve County Park (7:00-8:00pm)
