BARODA, Mich. -- Voters in Baroda will decide whether to abolish village government.
The Baroda village council voted to rescind the recently enacted "disincorporation" commission instead of replacing Brad Mattner because of his personal attacks against the Township Clerk and Supervisor.
That sent the issue back to the township clerk.
The Township had their attorney draft the resolution for the ballot language based on the statute, and it was voted on at the last Township meeting to put the matter on the November 3 ballot to let the people decide.
They are trying to get as much information out to the public to help them make an informed decision.
