SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame Stadium is sure to be packed with Irish fans many of them wearing gear with the iconic Notre Dame Fighting Irishman, but what many don't realize is one of the most recognizable mascots in college sports traces back to the work of one local artist.
