60-year-old Lawton man killed in crash
VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich.—A 60-year-old Lawton man died following a crash on September 11, according to the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.
A Toyota Highlander and a Chrysler Sebring were involved in a crash at the intersection of 64th Ave. and 30th St. in Antwerp Township on September 11 around 8:05 a.m.
Deputies arrived on scene to find both vehicles involved in the crash in the front yard of a house on the corner of the intersection.
As a result of the crash, the driver of the Toyota, a 60-year-old man from Lawton, passed away at a hospital in Kalamazoo the next day, police said.
The passenger in the Toyota, a 37-year-old woman from Lawton, and the driver of the Chrysler, a 26-year-old woman from Paw Paw, did not sustain any injuries in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and the Michigan State Police.
