MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- A 54-year-old man was charged with Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon after allegedly pointing a gun at his family Wednesday.

Shawn Barenie, the 54-year-old, was charged with Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon and Pointing a Firearm.

Around 5:33 p.m. Wednesday, deputies with the Marshall County Sheriff's Department dispatched near the 17000 block of Kenilworth Road for reports of a man pointing a firearm at his wife and son.

When deputies arrived, they found Barenie and took him to the Marshall County Jail following an investigation.

Barenie's bond was set at $1,505.
