Elkhart Latino community feels impact of ICE raids
NILES, Mich. -- The fourth annual Niles Family Fun Event took over Riverfront Park this afternoon, and dozens of families made the trip out despite the heat.
The event was hosted by Jessica Massey of the local State Farm, as they give back to the community that helps them stay strong.
"I believe if you pour your heart and soul into the community, they will return the favor, if you will. So I do think we do gain some business from this, whether it's, you know, in the weeks to come or next year," stated Massey.
The fun today included bounce houses, yard games, face painting, and balloon animals; a great time for all ages to enjoy.
