37-year-old Springfield Township woman in jail for alleged stabbing

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. – A La Porte County woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a man.
The La Porte County Sheriff's Office was called to the Marathon gas station on West US 20 early Monday morning and found a man with stab wounds to his upper body.
As a result of the investigation, deputies arrested 37-year-old Shannon King at a residence in the Woodberry Mobile Home Park on CR 650N in Springfield Township the following day.
King is facing preliminary charges of aggravated battery, battery by means of a deadly weapon and battery resulting in serious bodily injury.
