MISHAWAKA, Ind-- October 4 marks the 28th Michiana Chili Cook Off where there will be over 20 different chili recipes going head-to-head to see who has the best chili!
ABC57's Sidney Moore spoke with Bret Spring, Chef and American Culinary Federation Organizer along with Crystal Hallwood with Real Services ahead of the event.
This event is open to anyone who wants to get their hands on some good chili, with tickets selling for 10 dollars for adults and 5 for kids. You can even cast your votes for who has the best chili! There will also be a live band, fun activities for kids like corn hole, face painting and more for the community to enjoy! This event is happening at Ironworks Plaza in Mishawaka from 12 p.m. To 5 p.m.
