The heatwave is over, the showers and storms are not
ELKHART, Ind. - Police say a worker was hurt in a flash fire at an Elkhart business Thursday morning.
It happened just before 6:45 a.m. at Alpha Systems on Beck Drive.
Police say the worker was mixing some chemicals when the flash fire happened.
The worker suffered minor burns from the explosion and was taken to the hospital.
Investigators have not released the worker's name.
According to the company's web site the business makes products and accessories for the RV, marine and manufactured housing industries.
