Van Buren and Cass Counties Phase 1A clinics begin this week

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – The Van Buren/Cass District Health Department will begin Phase 1A clinics this week for first Emergency Medical Service workers, first responders and health care workers who are not being vaccinated through a hospital or other organization.

VBCDHD is asking critical infrastructure employers and direct care workers not affiliated with a hospital or other organization to complete the vaccination survey available at www.vbcassdhd.org/covid-19-vaccine

Completion of the form helps to plan logistics, such as clinic locations and vaccine order volume, and provide easy access to communication when necessary.

The prioritization guidance, established primarily by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), has an emphasis on ensuring continued functioning of the health care system and essential services in the community.
