U.S. 6 reopened in Walkerton after crash

WALKERTON, Ind. - U.S. 6 has reopened after a crash near Sycamore Road in Walkerton, according to Indiana State Police.

The crash happened just before 8:30 a.m. Monday morning.

According to the investigation, a passenger vehicle drove through a stop sign on Sycamore Road at U.S. 6 and crashed into the left side of a semi.

The impact caused the semi to roll onto its side, blocking the lanes of U.S. 6.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The semi driver wasn’t injured in the crash.

U.S. 6 reopened to traffic just before 11:30 a.m.
