CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- At approximately 11:50 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Huntly Road and Lake Shore Drive in Cass County, Michigan. 

Further investigation showed a 76-year-old female was travelling west bound on Lake Shore Drive attempting to cross the intersection at Huntly Road.

The driver failed to yield the right of way to oncoming south bound traffic colliding with a vehicle driven by a 63-year-old female and caused the crash.

The 76-year-old driver did not sustain any injuries in the crash. 

The 63-year-old female was transported to Lakeland Hospital in Niles for injuries sustained in the crash.

Howard Township Fire and SMCAS Ambulance services assisted in the crash. 

The crash remains under further investigation.
