CASS COUNTY, Mich. – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Marcellus Highway on Wednesday, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office announced.

At 5:20 p.m., officers responded to Marcellus Highway, near Decatur Road, for the crash.

The investigation showed that a Mishawaka woman was driving north on Decatur when she allegedly failed to yield the right of way for an eastbound vehicle.

The driver of the eastbound vehicle was not able to stop her vehicle and crashed into the northbound vehicle.

The impact caused the northbound vehicle to roll over.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital for their injuries.

Seatbelts were worn and drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors.

This is an ongoing investigation.
