SHIPSHEWANA, Ind. -- The Shipshewana Fire Department announced it contained an electrical fire in Shipshewana Tuesday afternoon, evacuating two people suffering injuries from the incident.

On Tuesday, around 2 p.m., Shipshewana Fire Department dispatched to electrical fire in the area of 3195 North S.R. 5 in Shipshewana, where crews were able to contain the flames within minutes, the department says.

Care was provided to two who suffered injuries during the electrical fire. They were then airlifted for further treatment.

The electrical fire remains under investigation.
