Triton School Board member steps down after 10 years

BOURBON, Ind. -- The Triton School Board approved the resignation of member Ken Miller last night, due to his relocation outside the district.

Those interested in filling his vacancy must live in Bourbon. Interested applicants should submit their applications by Oct. 10 at 4 p.m. Applications can be picked up at the Triton Administration Building and returned in person or emailed to the superintendent at [email protected].

Triton Schools said in a statement about Ken Miller's resignation:

"Thank you so much Mr. Ken Miller for serving Triton School Corporation with distinction for over 10 Years. Mr. Miller loves Triton and did everything he could to help us continue to live out the values of continuous improvement, shared leadership, evidence-based decision making, high expectations, and social/fiscal responsibility. Thank you Mr. Miller for your steady wisdom and support over the years, you will be dearly missed as a board member and advocate for our school and community!"
