LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- I-94 will see a week of overnight lane closures starting Monday for a traffic configuration change between S.R. 49 and US 421.

The overnight lane closures will last from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night, with two travel lanes in either direction being maintained during construction.

After Wednesday, I-94's eastbound lanes will reopen, and two lanes will be shifted to the right.

After Friday, the westbound lanes will reopen around mile marker 29 and traffic will be shifted to use counterflow lanes on the eastbound side near mile marker 34.
