WINAMAC, Ind. -- After several inches of rainfall, the Tippecanoe River is reaching moderate flood stage.
The remnants of Hurricane Beryl and this week's derecho has left rivers high across Michiana.
However, the Tippecanoe River is in the worst shape due to the heavy rainfall the past two weeks.
The river has just crested this morning, but forecasts call for it to stay in the moderate flooding stage through Friday morning.
The Tippecanoe likely will not get out of a flooding stage until later Saturday afternoon or evening.

Thankfully, the weather looks dry into Tuesday which will help the water recede faster.
