Three Oaks spooktacular brings Halloween fun to Dewey Canon Park

Stroll The Oaks

THREE OAKS, Mich. --   The Three Oaks Spooktacular is returning Saturday, October 2,5 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Dewey Cannon Park. The free, family-friendly event promises something for everyone with activities, entertainment, and Halloween spirit filling the night.

Highlights include:

  • Games & prizes for the whole family
  • Face painting & crafts for kids of all ages
  • Monster Mash dancing and lively music
  • Tractor rides through the village
  • Movie After Dark, under the stars

There is also a Scarecrow Showdown where River Valley Elementary students from kindergarten through fifth grade participate in a project to create their own class scarecrow. Beginning October 18, these one-of-a-kind scarecrows will be displayed throughout Dewey Cannon Park, bringing color and creativity to the event and the season.

Visitors can join in the fun by scanning a QR code at each scarecrow display to cast their votes for their favorite. Voting will remain open through October 31, and the class whose scarecrow earns the most votes will celebrate with a well-deserved pizza party. This collaboration highlights the creativity of local students while inviting the whole community to participate.
