SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Three men you've seen on ABC57 News over the years have deep connections to New York City, and on the 25th anniversary of 9/11, they're sharing their personal accounts of the day that forever changed the United States.
ABC57 Anchor Brian Conybeare was working for a TV station on Long Island and living in New York City at the time.
ABC57 Meteorologist Dave Caulfield grew up in Hackensack, New Jersey right across the Hudson River from the city. Dave was in third grade on 9/11.
Former ABC57 Investigative Reporter Kevin Warmhold was born and raised on Long Island, New York.
Kevin was serving in the Marine Corps stationed in Iwakuni, Japan on 9/11.
