ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Wednesday, March 8th, 2022
Michiana is currently at day two of three for quiet weather days this week. Today will be overall quite nice with partly sunny skies and temperatures steadily hovering around the mid-40s. A few more clouds will roll into the area tonight for mostly cloudy skies and our temperatures will drop back down to just below freezing. Thursday is our last segment of peaceful weather during the day, but a prelude of what is to come in the PM. Skies become increasingly cloudy throughout the day and temperatures will climb back to the mid-40s, but the quiet weather will only last into the early evening hours before a new event enters into the area from the west. The system will start with a rain/snow mix early in the overnight hours but will turn to snow as temperatures cool below freezing early Friday morning. The steadiest snow will fall across Michiana Friday AM and by Friday night only a few snow showers will remain. Uncertainty still remains regarding total accumulation, but begin to plan for 2"-4" of wet, slushy snow.
Today: Partly sunny. High 45.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 30.
Thursday: Cloudy. High 44.
Friday: Snow. High 35.
