There will be road Closures in Berrien County due to reconstruction project

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – There will be road closures in Benton Township, Berrien County due to MDOT working on a reconstruction project.

Britain Avenue and I-94 Business Route will be closed as part of the US-31 and I-94 reconstruction project.

Westbound I-94 will be closed from Crystal Avenue to Fair Avenue for reconstruction from Friday, October 23 through Monday, November 30.

Westbound traffic will be detoured on Crystal Avenue, Territorial Road, and Fair Avenue.

Britain Avenue will also be closed between Benton Center Road and blue Creek Road for construction of a new bridge over US-31. This closure will begin Monday, October 26 and will go into 2021.

Traffic will be detoured on Benton Center Road, Napier Avenue, and Hillandale Road.
